Solomone Kata Re‑Signing with Leicester Tigers & Building Legacy

Inventus Sports is pleased to announce the contract extension of Solomone Kata with the Leicester Tigers, signed on 18 December 2024, reaffirming his position within the club’s plans.
Born in Tonga and educated at Sacred Heart College, Auckland, Solomone began his professional career in league with the New Zealand Warriors before transitioning to rugby union. His time with Leicester reflects a sustained high‑performance approach across codes.
Upon re‑signing, Solomone stated, “I think my best days as a player are ahead of me and I’ll always give my all for the fans and for my teammates while I’m here.” Head Coach Michael Cheika added, “Sol is a big talent and also a big character inside the squad.”
